Points and results have been posted. Points had a computational error, and have been corrected.
As announced at Sunday's race our scheduled September travel date with TKC at Centennial has been cancelled. Kawartha Speedway is very busy in September and there are no
Sunday dates available. We have selected Friday September 14th as our make-up race date. This will be a night race and will be part of the 2012 Championship Series.
Many clubs are having night races so we are jumping on that bandwagon and going for a ride.
Expected start time will be 4:00 pm with a bbq and standard race day format. More information as the date gets closer but mark on your calendar now.

Pre-tech on Saturday will be very tough, expect it. You will be denied track access until everything is right. Print off a pre-tech form and go through all items on your kart before bringing it to the track.
Be ready for the weather.

Further to the tire specifications for 2012, either Vega or MG rain tires are acceptable. Any set of tires (wet or dry)raced must be of a single manufacturer and type, no mix&match.
Some additional ASN bulletins are posted in the Regulations section (Club Info, scroll down to Regulations).
Rear bumpers will have to be the "full width" configuration. If you have questions please contact a board member. A couple of races grace will be given at the start of the season for all karts to get configured to the new style. This process started last year, everyone should be prepared.

April 2
Good to see new faces at the Spring Meeting.
Members voted overwhelmingly in favor of the spec tire proposal. For 2012 KDKC will race on any of the three brands/compounds in current use (Vega Blue, MG Red, MG Yellow) with the plan to make Vega Blue the only spec tire in 2013. Any "branding" on the Vega
is acceptable, you do not have to buy tires from us. Visitors are welcome on any of the three tires.
Next up is our Rookie Training and Open Practice on April 28th followed by Race 1, Sunday April 29th. Keep working on those karts!!
