Regulations for kart racing are governed under ASN Canada and Kawartha Durham Kart Club Supplementary Regulations.
All competitors must read, understand and have copies of the regulations with them. If you are uncertain about a regulation you should seek clarification from a club official before racing.
Rules are there for sportsmanship and safety, main goals in club racing.
2010 regulations will be replaced with 2011 as they become available.
Parents of junior drivers should take the time to explain regulations to their drivers. It is the driver who suffers any penalties under the regs. Claiming you did not know about a rule does not relieve you of the responsibility of following them.
